Induction of salt stress tolerance in chives by priming with H2O2 in hydroponic cultivation

The use of salt stress attenuators is considered an important tool to minimize the deleterious effects salts. However, its application chives (Allium schoenoprasum L.) has not been studied. This study aimed evaluate induction tolerance in plants relation growth and enzymatic reactions, when subjected different salinity levels nutrient solution, after acclimation seeds with hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) for 24 h. experiment was conducted a greenhouse, where were acclimated by H2O2 at concentrations 0.0, 0.15, 0.30, 0.45 0.60 mmol. After germination, cultivated hydroponic system electrical conductivities 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0 5.0 dS m-1. Plant height, length number leaves, content, malondialdehyde catalase (CAT) activity evaluated plants. increase solution up 5 m-1 reduced 5.88%, 17% 9.63% plant leaf respectively. It observed that mmol g-1 fresh mass 3.73 led maximum CAT activity, minimizing on growth.
